We are hiring for the following position:
Job Title: Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) Advisor / Assessor III - Geoscience
Location: Offshore Platform, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: 10 weeks on / 3 weeks off (70 days on, 21 days off)
Assignment Type: Offshore Rotation
Job Overview:
The OIMS Advisor/Assessor will provide expert guidance on the implementation of ExxonMobil's Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) specifically for geophysical vendor field operations. This includes performing assessments, participating in workshops, and ensuring best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, the Level 3 OIMS Advisor will:
Participate in external stakeholder assessments to identify best practices and lessons learned.
Join OIMS workshops and network meetings as needed.
Conduct systematic assessments of OIMS implementation progress on new projects.
Assist in incident investigations, providing root cause analysis expertise and reviewing reports.
Deliver technical presentations as required.
Collaborate with the JV SHE Team on additional tasks as assigned.
Scope of Work for this Role:
The Geophysical Project SHE QC Advisor will monitor and provide expertise on Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), and Security issues associated with the project.
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in geophysical operations, including at least 3 years with marine seismic (OBN or streamer) crews in a SHE role.
At least 10 years' offshore operations experience, with training in SHE management.
Demonstrated experience in OIMS implementation, ideally with ExxonMobil experience.
Strong communication skills, integrity, and ability to build trust within team environments.
Extensive experience in both onshore and offshore exploration projects, including oil & gas.
Broad technical and HSE knowledge, with hands-on experience in HSE Management Systems.
Solid understanding of safety management practices, standards, and codes.
Ability to work within an integrated project team and develop effective working relationships.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern communication tools.
Physical fitness and compliance with all health and safety requirements, including offshore certifications.
Valid and current certifications for the duration of the project.
